Christmas on December 25 is an extensively celebrated holiday in Mizoram because of its large Christian population, full of festive activities and church services.
Chapchar Kut is another most significant holiday in Mizoram, which falls in the month of March, usually at the end of the local jhum cycle of their traditional shifting cultivation and kick-starts the harvest period. In Mizoram Holiday 2025, Chapchar Kut will be glorified with much pomp to celebrate it with traditional folk dances, music, and feasting on various cuisines. Similarly, Mizo New Year is another important event, preferably falling in April, depicting the rich cultural heritage at the place.
