Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing daily care routines, feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and developmental activities for newborns and infants.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Baby Nurses need to be adept at identifying and addressing health issues, soothing fussy babies, and making critical decisions regarding the infants’ well-being.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the babies.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to parents on infant care practices, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery is a key aspect of this role.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Constantly seeking ways to improve care practices, staying updated on the latest childcare trends, and implementing innovative solutions for infant care.
- Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Educating parents on infant care techniques, addressing their concerns, and providing emotional support during the postpartum period.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of infant CPR, first aid, feeding techniques, and safe sleep practices.
- Educational Requirements: Certification in Neonatal Care, Pediatric Nursing, or related field.
- Experience Level: Minimum of 2 years of experience in newborn or infant care, preferably in a hospital or home setting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of infant development stages, common health issues in newborns, and best practices in childcare.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-profile families or celebrity childcare settings.
