Key Responsibilities

- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Hair stylists encounter various challenges, such as addressing client hair concerns, recommending suitable styles, and solving unexpected hair issues during services. They make decisions on hair treatments, products, and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Hair stylists collaborate with other beauty professionals within the salon to provide comprehensive beauty services. They may work with makeup artists, estheticians, and nail technicians to offer clients a full beauty experience.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Senior hair stylists may take on leadership roles, guiding and mentoring junior stylists or assisting in training programs within the salon. They demonstrate expertise in hair techniques and salon best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling. Knowledge of different hair types, textures, and treatments. Familiarity with salon equipment and tools.
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a cosmetology program or hair styling certification from an accredited institution.
- Experience Level: 2+ years of experience as a professional hair stylist in a salon setting. Experience with diverse client needs and hair types. Previous roles may include junior stylist, assistant stylist, or apprentice roles.
