Instrumentation Engineer Job Description

Instrumentation engineers work in manufacturing plants, oil and gas fields, refineries and other industries where they are responsible for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining machines and instrumentation devices. They typically have specific roles that include the following job duties:

Design Instrumentation Systems

• Study design and technical specifications of existing systems
• Develop designs for instrumentation and control systems for a range of application

Maintain Instrumentation Systems
