What Does an RPA Developer Do?

Robotic process automation (RPA) developers design and code software functions using specialized RPA tools, such as UiPath, Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere. They build automated processes to communicate and interact with existing legacy software systems, eliminating the need for manual processes.

RPA Developers Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, coding, and maintaining automated process using RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.
• Collaborating with team members to define business requirements for automated solutions.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects in automated processes.
• Creating, updating, and managing automated process documentation.
• Integrating existing processes with legacy software systems, such as Salesforce, SAP, etc.

Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced RPA Developer to help develop and maintain automated processes using UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.
• The RPA Developer will be responsible for coding new automated processes as well as troubleshooting and resolving any defects.
• The candidate should have experience with RPA tools, and a firm understanding of software engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Defining Business Requirements: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand and define business requirements for proposed RPA solutions.
• Design & Develop: Design and develop automated processes using RPA tools and existing legacy software systems.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Test and troubleshoot developed automated processes for accuracy and performance.
• Process Documentation: Create, update, and maintain process documentation for automated solutions.

Requirements & Skills

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering required.
• Knowledge & Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development and experience with RPA tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer programming languages and system integration frameworks.
• Communication: Excellent verbal & written communication skills necessary for collaboration.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
