- Technical Skills:Skill in operating radiographic equipment knowledge of imaging protocols familiarity with PACS systems. Understanding radiation safety protocols ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, state licensure, and ongoing continuing education to keep certification.
- Experience Level:Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiography exposure to many imaging modalities (X-ray CT MRI. Etc.) experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communicator, sharp thinker, flexible, and a strong team player.
- Industry Knowledge:Understanding of patient care pathways knowledge of anatomy and physiology adherence to HIPAA rules. Awareness of current trends in radiography and healthcare technology.
